1.0 Introduction:
Basewars is a mock combat game for a large number of players. Each player attempts to survive attacks while at the same time killing their targets. The game will last over the course of several weeks and is open to anyone in and around RAF Mildenhall.
1.1 Preparation:
Everyone who wishes to play must provide the following:
*Note* all information will be used only for game purposes. It will not be released under any circumstances outside the game *Note*
-Full Name
-Address
-Email Address
-A picture of yourself Preferably in .jpg format
-A nickname of your choosing
Supplying incorrect details will result in being disqualified.
1.2 Preliminaries
1.2.1 Rule violations may result in being put on the wanted list or being disqualified from the game.
1.2.2 Any questions should be brought up on the forum.
1.2.3 You may not use non-players to attack your target, however they may help you in the planning process.
1.2.4 A victim is not considered dead unless they know about it. Weapons must have some sort of noticeable effect, the more noticeable the better.
1.2.5 Use common sense, don't do anything that will get you or anyone else in trouble.
2.0 Aims:
The main aim is to be the last one alive and to have a good time.
3.0 Victims:
You will be emailed your victim's information when the game starts. You will not know who your assassin's are.
4.0 Weapons:
All weapons must be safe and actually do something to indicate a kill. All non-obvious weapons must be labeled ie. pen knives, nerf football rockets ect
Water or other messy weapons will not be used inside at any time due to property damage risk. The following weapons are acceptable though the list is not exhaustive. If you have questions about something that is not on the list please make a post on the forums.

-Water guns
-Nerf guns
-Water Hose
-Poison No powders, remember the anthrax scare
-Club Represented by a labeled newspaper, sock, ect
-Knifes/swords
-Garotte Toilet paper or handkerchiefs
-Poisoned Food or Drink Must be a noticeable flavor or color
-Letters Do NOT mail them!
5.0 Death and Dying:
All kills and deaths should be reported to the website as soon as possible. It is the responsibility of the assassin to report his target's death or his own death in the event the target kills him.
After death, players may request to join the police force in the forums.
Police Force:
A player may request to join the police force once dead. The police force's purpose is to kill any wanted criminals (People who the Umpire has deemed incompetant or who have not made kill attempts within a week).
7.0 Rules of Engagement
7.1 Permissible Targets
You may attack anyone - however anyone who is NOT one of:
1. Your assigned targets
2. The assassin assigned to you
3. Anyone holding a weapon or having one in full view
4. Anyone in the process of actively trying to kill someone
5. Anyone on the wanted list
6. Anyone on the incompetant list
...is an innocent victim. So you will be made wanted for killing them.
7.2 Out of Bounds Areas
No assassination attempt may be made if victim or assassin is in an out-of-bounds area. The following are always out of bounds:
-Work during duty hours The game is halted during duty hours, however you may use your discrection before and after work. The parking lot around your office is NEVER acceptable and is always out of bounds
-Functions Squadron picnics/BBQ's
-Base Eating Establishments Including the chow hall and enlisted club
-If the victim invites you into their house.
7.3 Time Restrictions:
Once the game starts you will have one week to make a kill or you will be placed on the wanted list. Every time you get a new target you will have a week from the time you register the kill to make the next one.
8.0 Reporting:
8.1 Witnesses
If other players witness an assassination take place and word reaches the umpire, you WILL be put on the wanted list. This also goes for other non-player people. Killing witnesses will result in your placement on the wanted list.
